What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Since the end of baseball, I have been doing Coach Atwater’s PLT4M workouts which consist of everything from the big lifts like squat and bench to the little things like stretching and foam rolling. I have also been throwing a little bit with the receivers during the week.”
What are your goals for the season?
“My main goals are to have both more passing and rushing yards that I did last year.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“I think our team needs to improve on being consistent on both sides of the ball. Last year, we could have really good defensive stops and the next drive get ran over. The same thing on offense, we could have a touchdown scoring drive and then the next drive go 4 and out.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We play Iowa City Regina, who is going to be a very tough opponent. It’s going to be a good opportunity for us to show them what we have.”
How has Covid factored into your off-season workouts?
“Due to COVID, the weight room was shut down for a good amount of time so doing at home workouts just to stay in shape and keep some muscle was key.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think our team has a really good chance of having a winning record, if not better.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Looking at the schedule right now, I would say that Regina is going to be the toughest game of year. They have some really good players that are going to be tough to stop.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“We are going to have a lot of tough players that are going D1 that we play against. As an offensive guy, I would say Jeffrey Bowie from West Branch.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yeah, I would love to have the opportunity to play college baseball or maybe even college football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Saint Ambrose has been recruiting me for football and mainly Loras for baseball.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall
“As of right now, I do not have any trips planned.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Since I’ve only been recruited by one school, it would be Saint Ambrose.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I’ve visited Wartburg and UNI.”

“I’ve been an Iowa fan ever since I’ve been little.”
