How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“During the spring and summer, I got a chance to play for Iowa Intensity in a few tournaments. I learned a lot and am looking forward to implementing that into my game in the upcoming season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Workout plans include just being a gym rat and being in the gym everyday shooting threes and working the drills I learned in the past.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“I think what I have improved on most is just my basketball IQ, playmaking, and leadership.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be?
“We have a lot of tough games on our schedule, but there are a lot of winnable games. We are just trying to get a few of those tough games and build on the above .500 record we had last year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018-2019?
“It’s always tough playing the defending state champs in GVC.”
What are the keys for your team having success?
“We need to find a few guys to be able to come off the bench in timely situations and have our big-name guys like Will Clapper and Ian Thompson come to play every night. We can’t have any slow starts.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“None.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet, but I have a few I am looking forward to seeing.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My aunt and cousin both went to or are going to Simpson, so there is a family connection there. I’ve also been to drake a few times and that’s a really fun college. That looks like one I would enjoy going to.”
