What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“So far, we have been lifting and really hitting that hard. They need me to get into better shape with running stuff.”
How has it been with the school splitting?
“No one really wanted us to split but everything happens for a reason. I am excited to play 8-Man. It’ll be fun. I am excited to play as the Baxter Bolts.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we can be pretty good. We have our quarterback coming back with a lot of receivers. Our defense is good. We can be a good team.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I am not really sure. I’ve never really seen a lot of 8-Mna games but I’ve heard Midland is pretty good. Lone Tree is pretty good.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“At the end of the school year, I had coaches come to the school and talk to me from Iowa, Iowa State, and UNI. Coach Luther has had some calls from schools like Illinois State and those type of schools. They invited me to their camps.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably Iowa State. They sent coaches down and invited me to come to their camp. That was really cool. It is probably Iowa State.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am going to get to Iowa, Iowa State, UNI, and the coach from North Dakota State invited me to their camp. I also might go to one more at like Kansas State or something like that.”
