What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Off-season workouts have included weight training 5 days a week in the morning coupled with speed/agility. On top of that, I attend basketball workouts every day of the week and the occasional tournament on the weekend.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel I improved my strength and agility the most since last year. A whole year of strength and conditioning has developed me into a better overall athlete.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I'm trying to develop my versatility on the field before this season. Throughout camps this summer, I've tried out a whole new position in DB.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is Saydel. They were a good opener last year for us and It should be an easy confidence builder again.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play sports. It's come down to either basketball or football, but I haven't decided which one yet though.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've talked to multiple colleges regarding football like Morningside, Northwestern in Orange City, Dordt, Mankato State, Nebraska Wesleyan, Wayne State, Indiana State, Augustana, Drake, and a few others.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The college recruiting me the hardest would be Northwestern in Orange City. They told me they plan on offering.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've made quite a few trips to various colleges for camps and visits.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I don't have any more visits planned for a while.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I was invited to Iowa's camp, and that went well. It got me good exposure. I also went to Northwestern's camp along with SDSU's prospect camp. I have one final camp that is a team camp at Simpson college.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up would be Iowa State.”
