How did the high school football season go overall?
“We had a pretty decent season. We ended up getting knocked out of the playoffs by North Scott 13-10 with them ending up winning the state championship, which was hard to see.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Currently I’m in wrestling season so I’m wrestling every day and lifting at least twice a day. I am just trying to go to as many football showcases and camps as I can where I can fit it in.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“With the new classes being announced recently, I feel like the team will be a lot more successful. We lost a lot of seniors so that’s tough, but all the juniors are coming back with a chip on our shoulders.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I haven’t seen our schedule yet and I’m not even sure who we play, but I have a feeling we will see West Delaware at some point. That’s going to be one of our most challenging games.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“As of the toughest player we are going to play against, I have a feeling it will be Wyatt Voelker. He’s a really solid linebacker and running back.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I love both wrestling and football, but football has a lot more opportunity after high school and college so that’s the route I plan on taking.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There’s been a lot of schools showing love and reaching out consistently such as Columbia, Penn, Harvard, St. Thomas, Drake, and Augustana.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet sadly, but I am hoping the time will come soon.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I have no plans yet for trips to colleges.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I didn’t watch any particular colleges while growing up, but the colleges I used to watch and enjoy the most when I was little were definitely the ones located in the South.”
