How did the high school football season go overall?
“I felt like it went well, and we had a good year. The team definitely came together like a family and everyone played their part. I’m excited about all the players we return next year.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I just finished up our state championship run for Ankeny basketball. I’ve started preparing for baseball now and am hitting the offseason workouts hard.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“For the upcoming football season, I’ll definitely be focusing on footwork and getting faster while also putting on muscle mass and weight.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like with all the returning threats that we have, we could make a strong run at the championship next year. We’re really deep in the skills positions on offense and we’ll have a young defense that will be tough to play against.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I feel like with the new scheduling model, it gives us opportunities to play different teams. I think everyone we play will be a tough game, but we can beat any team if we believe in ourselves.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play sports in college. I would like to play football in college; however, if the opportunity comes along for basketball or baseball, I will definitely consider it.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been receiving a lot of camp invites for football and baseball.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t made any trips yet. I plan to make some this fall.”

“The University of Iowa because I grew up a Hawkeye fan.”
