How did the football season go for your team?
“It didn’t go as expected, to say the least. We had a lot of ups and downs with injuries and in certain games, we didn’t perform well. Overall, it was a lesson learned and big motivator to do much better next season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My workout plans now going forward are strength and conditioning before school with my team followed by speed work after school at a training facility in the Des Moines area. I also attend another training facility in Ames twice a week for more football focused workouts. It also gives me an outlet to camps and showcases that I recently performed at like the US National Teams Development Games in Ohio and The Best of the Midwest Showcase in Illinois.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“The things I am most trying to improve this off-season are my speed most of all and my leadership on and off the field. Another thing I want to improve is my versatility. I would like to play both sides of the ball and be a serious dictator in how our opponents play us.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I feel our team will be great next season. We have a lot of young guys that can step in and fill in important spots on the team and perform well as they did last season. My class and the class below has definitely been taking training more seriously in preparation for the 2018 season.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I don’t think our schedule is tough. Our opponents schedule is tough because they have us on it. We don’t treat certain games any different than each other. We have a goal to win every week and we don’t let the talent of the other team decide how we are going to play. We’re going to play our game. We’re going to play hard and fast week in and week out whether the team is undefeated or hasn’t won a game all season.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play football in college.”

“Minnesota State Moorhead, NDSU and Augustana.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Minnesota State Moorhead.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any college trips yet, but I plan on taking some visits in the spring.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“Right now, I plan on going to Rivals, Nike, Iowa and Iowa State.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, my favorite college was Iowa State since I lived in Ames for most of my life.”
