How did the football season go for your team?
“After starting out 2-2 this season, many people counted us out. Our senior leaders really pulled our team together and we ended up making another run to the Dome. Although we lost to Dowling both times, it was a very special thing to have the opportunity to play in the UNI-Dome in back to back years.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I am in a lifting class at school and I also lift two or three times a week with the basketball team. After basketball season, I plan on working out at Engineered Performance like I did last off-season.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am trying to improve my run blocking the most this off-season and my overall strength. Also, I would like to get better at running sharper routes.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think our team next season has the potential to be just as good as we were last season. We can’t expect results without putting in the effort to begin with.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“SEP or one of our non-district games.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would be open to playing sports in college and would consider both football and basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“ISU, Augustana, and Minnesota State Moorhead for football.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would probably say ISU because they invited me to attend all of their home games this past season and have kept in touch since then.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“As of now, no, but I plan on taking trips to ISU, Iowa, and possibly some other small schools.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“The only camp I will for sure go to is the ISU 7 vs. 7 passing camp and the ISU individual camp. I may attend other camps if I am interested in playing DII football.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up was Iowa, but lately, I have become a fan of ISU due to what Coach Campbell has done for the program.”
