How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Johnston?
“I know that they are always a good team that is well coached. It is always a game we want to come out and win, especially with it being the first game of the season.”
Did you do any college camps this summer?
“I went to seven; UNI, Iowa, Iowa State, UND, North Dakota State, Mankato State, and Northern Illinois.”
How did those camps go?
“At the beginning of the summer, I was rusty and didn’t feel like I was putting my best self forward. As the others went on, I felt more comfortable and performed a lot better. I showed what I can really do.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A few colleges have contacted me about sending film. It has been Air Force, UND, Iowa State, UNI, and NDSU a little bit.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I got an offer from Mankato State. They are obviously at the top of the list. Out of the Division I schools, Iowa State seems pretty interested. They are probably looking at me as a walk-on but I don’t know.”
