What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I’ve been in track and I’ll be running in districts on Thursday to get into state. I’ve been getting faster and preparing myself for state.”

What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“I feel I have gotten faster and I feel I have gotten a little bit bigger. I have been trying to increase my speed and working as a wide receiver. I am working on my routes and my hands.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I feel like we’ll be pretty good. I feel that we have a lot of starters returning and a bunch of others. I feel we are going to be better.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably Dowling.”

How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Johnston?
“They always play us really tough and it is a good game that comes down to the wire. I don’t know much about them yet but we’ll have to play all four quarters.”

What colleges are recruiting you for track?
“I have looked at a couple of schools. I have gotten letters from a few of the schools. I visited UNI and I’m visiting Iowa. They have shown that they are interested. As I get done with track, we’ll see what they have to say.”

Do you want to run track in college?
“Yeah, that is what I’d like to do.”

Are there visits that you plan to take soon?
“Not as of now.”
