“I gained fifteen pounds over the summer. I have gotten faster and my 40-time has gotten better. Everything has gone up.”
How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Johnston?
“They are always going to be tough. They are cross town rivals so they are right on our border. It’ll be a good game. They always run the ball so we have to be good with that.”
How do you believe your basketball team will be next season?
“We got a good basketball team coming back with mostly juniors from last year. I think we are set. We got a really good point guard and some really good underclassmen. We should be pretty good.”
What is the toughest basketball game on your schedule for 2017-2018?
“I’d say North maybe or Waukee.”
Did you do any college camps this summer?
“I have not yet. It has been a busy summer.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“For football, it has basically been St. Thomas. They have been hitting me up along with a few other Division III and II colleges like Winona State.”

“I have visited St. Thomas towards the end of the school year.”
