How did the high school football season go overall?
“Our season, like many other teams, was full of obstacles from playing a 4A team, to a very solid 3A team, as well as playing in a tough district. We had a lot of talent and when we clicked, we looked like a very good football team. We showed a lot of fight and toughness throughout the year and didn’t back down to any challenge that came our way.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“In the off-season, I plan on play basketball, running track, and playing baseball. I also plan to lift throughout those sports as well as working with wide receivers and other skill players on offense.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I’m trying to improve on taking care of the football, and better understanding the defenses that I’m going to face. Along with those two aspects, I also would like to improve on making quicker reads and taking what’s there for me instead of trying to do too much.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next year, I think we have a lot of potential to be a solid team. We will have a lot of guys competing for spots on both sides of the ball, which I think is a good thing for us and it will lead to better practices due to the amount of competition.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think one of our toughest games next year will be Monticello because it’s such a strong rivalry between us and it means a lot to each of our communities. They are also going to be a lot like us next year due to the fact that they are losing a lot of talented seniors.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I don’t plan on playing any sports in college. I plan to be more focused on academics and my future as far as the workforce.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t had any colleges contacting me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any college trips yet.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do plan on scheduling some trips soon.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
