How did the high school football season go overall?
“We had a historic season for Algona. We ended the year 9-2, with a loss in the quarterfinals to a good Waukon team by three.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Currently, I am working my way back into playing basketball after I broke my hand in the first round of playoffs. Then in a couple of weeks, I’m going to be lifting four days a week with my brother and then track in the spring.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I plan on working with a trainer to maximize my speed and also I want to become stronger in the weight room.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like we will have a good season again next year if we can get some guys to replace our seniors and buy in to what to do.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think Spirit Lake is going to be our hardest team to play because they have a great program. There’s always a team out there that plays better than you’d think in the preseason.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m interested in playing football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I actually haven’t heard anything from any schools but have had Nebraska and Western Illinois follow me on Twitter.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t gone on any trips personally, but I’ve seen a lot of schools from my brother’s recruitment.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I’m going to visit Nebraska and Iowa State with my brother, but haven’t gotten anything set up on my own.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I never really had a stand out favorite team, but I’ve always watching college teams like Iowa, Iowa State, and Nebraska.”
