How did the high school football season go overall?
“I would say the season went well overall as a team and individually. It was definitely a confidence booster with all the awards and recognition received.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I lift four times a week following the program my coaches provide for me. I also do speed drills and exercises along with core workouts as well.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I am trying to improve on my strength through weight training. Speed and explosiveness is extremely important, so I’m always looking for way to improve on that.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next year, I except our football team to be in the running for a 2A State championship and wouldn’t really be satisfied with anything less.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Next season, I see Spirt Lake being our toughest competition. They always seem to have a good team and are well coached. The rest of our schedule looks to be fairly favorable.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play sports in college, particularly football. Football is something I’m beyond passionate about and want to play on the next level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’m attending several Junior days coming up through Drake, Morningside, and Wayne state. Otherwise, no colleges have contacted me for anything other than camps.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Those Junior days I talked about before will be my first visits to a school.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I would love to visit more schools, but as of right now I don’t have any scheduled.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up and still to this day my favorite team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. I love to watch their football games and wouldn’t mind playing their either.”
