How is the basketball season going?
“We started out the season losing some close games, but we ended going to break winning four in a row. Over break, we worked hard on getting better at the little things, so we can be playing our best ball coming out of break and into districts.”
What can your team improve on?
“The thing we've worked on a lot over break is just communication.”
What has been the biggest adjustment to playing varsity basketball this season?
“The biggest difference for me is how much faster the pace of the game is played.”
What do you know about Knoxville?
“Knoxville is a tough conference team. They shoot the ball from three very well and press, which can cause teams some problems.”
Based on results so far, who appears to be the best team in your conference?
“Eddyville is leading the conference right now. They are undefeated in conference.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I would like to go on and play college basketball. Iowa has sent some letters and contacted my coach. Also, Mount Mercy and the University of Omaha have emailed me.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“Right now, I don't know what camps I'll be attending because of team camps and AAU ball.”
