Team Strengths:
Mental toughness, guard play, and defense
Question Marks:
Young players stepping up and post play
Overview:
After winning thirteen games last season, Earlham has three starters back in the
fold for another run at the conference title. Graduated senior Kevin
Martens nearly averaged a double-double last season and the team will have a
tough time replacing him. His presence inside and on the boards is
something that this version of the squad needs. The guard core is strong
with three starters back and other role players returning. Don't be
shocked to see a young Earlham team. With four sophomores mentioned among
the athletes who could get playing time, they all need to step up. That
could determine if the team is better than last year.
