Team Strengths:
Experience in the guard core, quickness, and depth
Question Marks:
Post play and experience outside of the top four
Overview:
With three starters back off of a team that finished 17-6, Bedford could be a
tough team. And considering they made the move from Class 2A to Class 1A,
this could be the year that they make some noise. Shean Fletcher played a
major role on the team last fall and is the only returning senior starter on the
team. But with Andy Schweitzer and Gary Ewart, the team has a very solid
core for the Class of 2008. Both players combined to score nearly
twenty-five points per game and that should improve this season. They have
had another year of off-season improvements and that should show on the court.
If the Bulldogs can have a post presence step up, this team has all the makings
for a run at the State tournament.
