predictions after week 9 results

So the finishes should be confirmed now I don't think I screwed those up.

District 1 - BV, Newell, EHK, AWV
District 2 - WBM, MMC, GTRA, HLP
District 3 Janesville, NK, Clarksville,North Iowa
District 4 Central Elkader ,Turkey Valley,West Central Maynard, Kee
District 5 - Don Bosco, HLV, Colo, Meskwaki
District 6 - Lamoni, Melcher, Wayne, TC
District 7 - Glidden, CRB, Guthrie Center, East Union
District 8 Fremont Mills, Sidney, Lenox, Stanton

Now the State has a couple of options if they deem HLP within 125 miles to Glidden it can change this. I went from their high school to glidden high school 126 miles. They could say one of the towns is within or something i don't know for the sake of my predictions ill say they don't. So here goes
1 vs 4's
BV vs HLP
WBM vs AWV
Janesville vs North Iowa
Central Elkader vs Meskwaki
Don Bosco vs Kee
Lamoni vs TC
Glidden vs Stanton
Fremont Mills vs East Union

If they say HLP can play Glidden it changes things up. in this scenario all match ups are out of district but huge drives for most

2 vs 3s state has a choice to make in this one as well. EHK is only school within 125 miles that isn't a district opponent for 2 schools MMC and Sidney. I have them going North because I feel the state thinks the North district is a little better than the south one with Sidney in it. So they would want more schools from that district to maybe advance.

pretty sure North Iowa got knocked out of the playoffs when Tripoli beat Clarksville. 3 way tie for third with North Iowa being lowest on points

Kee is 4-3 and west central is 4-3 in District play. IAHSAA had keep finishing 3rd in district and west central 4th. But west central owns the head to head with kee. So who finishes 3rd? Kee has better overall record but does that matter?

West central does because they won the head to head. Isaw that to I think they just had a system to rank them if they have same record by the point system. Both finished same district record and it's just those two so goes to head to head.

Can't happen when there are scenarios like I have where no district opponent has to play each other. They said they want to do that only reason is because HLV is only 1 within distance of Wayne besides their own district.

I think a Colo N-K matchup would make some pairings in central iowa too difficult but the ihsaa has done some weird things in the past.

So to expand because HLV is only one in Wayne's distance the 2 northern schools have to have opponents outside and NK would go east like I have it so no district teams are playing again.
