believe central defense will be the deciding factor here, very hard to run on. Hopefully I
Strudhoff and Krieger are healthy enough to play, or hlv may get destroyed. Any thoughts.

Obviously it would be great if Kriegel and Strudthoff are at full strength but with the way Strudthoff was hobbling around the other night against Janesville I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't see the field at all. He's obviously a game changer but Coach Smith won't play him if he's as dinged up and slow as he was the other night. That is bad news waiting to happen and Strudthoff is a team player and he will understand that and support his team from the sidelines if he isn't healthy enough to take the field.

Van Buren, Van Otegham, and Louis Kriegel will definitely have to take their game to the next level offensively if that is the case. Dalton Kriegel did come back in to throw the go-ahead touchdown pass for HLV against Janesville after he went down a couple drives before so I'm going to assume he will heal up and play against Central Elkader. Strudthoff on the other hand, I'm not as optimistic.

I think HLV will give Central Elkader all they can handle and then some. I'm confident the Warriors can play with and beat anyone, time to see if that holds true this Friday night.

strudhoff hopefully not a senior. That would stink. I can't wait for Friday. How long is drive for hlv.

Strudthoff is a senior, looking at around a 2 hour and 15 minute or so trek up to Elkader.

Very intrigued by this game. Having watched both teams this season, I keep going back and forth. Once I get to thinking one team has an edge, I realize the other team has a counter to that. Regardless who came out of the Janesville and HLV game, I knew this game would be a great matchup. Obviously, assuming that they'd pair them together. Contemplating on going to the NF vs DB game or this one. If Strudthoft can't go, I feel that is a loss to HLV, but they have the pieces to fill in place. Like I said, I can keep going back and forth as both teams are well disciplined. I'm going to go on a ledge and say CE by no more than two scores. But I wouldn't doubt HLV one bit! Best of luck to both teams, and safe travels to any fans making their way to the game. It's really beautiful up that way! lol never traveled to NE Iowa!

BCMoore has their defense ranked 9th this week, it has been fluctuating lately.

Very fast, great tackling. Does hlv run spread or are the bunched up middle. Not sure I can stand another slow pace game. Not sure their qb will be able to do much.

HLV relied a lot on strudhoff in the Don Bosco game. They can very explosive so can Central from the scores I am seeing.
