Rankings don't mean a darn thing in September. On Nov 15 #1 would be worth it

I'm really wondering in the AP poll for class A who ranked West Hancock low enough that they aren't #1 with the most first place votes.

I noticed that too. West Hancock had the most first place votes, but still ended up second overall?

Voters did spread things around ... West Hancock got 6 first-place votes but Grundy Center got 4 and Woodbury Central got 2 (I guess that tells us there are 12 AP voters).
