Pretty good voting turn-out for it being two days before football Thursday and only having run for about half the day.
I see myself kind of in the middle between every year and only when it's obvious they're both on the same side. The part of me saying do it every year, it gives a little more opportunity for teams on opposite sides of the state to play. Just for example, if Burlington and Council Bluffs Lewis Central were to make it that far, they could be paired in a semifinal. Otherwise, they would each have to make the championship. And that's a one shot chance at facing someone potentially never before seen. Semifinals match-ups could bear as many as three of those every fall. And, to me, that's worth the interest right there.
