Does anyone know the tteams that volunteered not to be in the playoffs?

Clarksville dropped out, and word is Central City and Central Elcador are asking not to, but I cant confirm that, just hear say. I wonder in Tri will be back with their eligibility problems. Here's to hoping for the best to all the kids out there giving all they have.

"In 8-Player, 67 teams began the season, but Clarksville recently canceled the remainder of its schedule. Tharp said that two other schools — he would not name them, but said they are in south-central Iowa — have opted not to play in the postseason, but will instead play each other in a Week 8 game. That leaves 64 teams, which creates a perfect six-round bracket."

Going by "south central", Seymour and Moravia would seem logical. They're both 0-6 and are only 30 miles apart.

I have heard a rumor that Twin Cedars and Melcher Dallas are planning to play each other in Week 8 rather than participate in the playoffs.

That's all of them. The season started with 67.
