Playoff Predictions

I haven't saw a thread for this for class A, here is what I have.

1. West Hancock vs. South Winn
Belle Plaine vs. Central Decatur

4. Woodbury Central vs. South O'Brien
Gehlen vs. Westwood

2. St. Ansgar vs. MFL MarMac
Ed-Co vs. Grundy Center

3. North Tama vs. BGM
Earlham vs. IKM-Manning

Not terrible travel for round 1, there could be a couple long trips for the quarterfinals, but the state seems to be ok with that.

Much depends on the MFL vs EdCo game tonight. If MFL wins they will be the 2 or 3 seed and host 2 games probably against BGM or South Winn. If MFL loses tonight I agree with your prediction.

I hear ya, but where else would they send South Winn (if SW makes the playoffs)? It would either have to be MFL or St Ansgar I would think, and they've already played both of those teams. Unless they made SW drive past St Ansgar to get to West Hancock maybe??

(again, this would only be the scenario if MFL beats EdCo)

I could honestly see the state doing that, sending south Winn to Britt to avoid a first round match up of Saint Ansgar or mfl or the state will match up south Winn in that quadarent with someone possibly facing mfl or Saint Ansgar in a quarterfinals match up. So maybe belle plain or bgm first round?
