Pitch counts and days of rest-What is right?

Why ask him? Because he rode his #1 guy for the tournament last year, within the stated rules, got to the finals, and now the kid had a great frosh year in D1? I have NEVER heard of Mr. Goodman having arm problems, surgery, or any ill-effects for his college career. Here is his frosh stats at High Point, pretty impressive in my book.

Bottom line, some kids can go longer than others. IMO a coach has to figure out their players' limits and then do what is best for the player, but that varies from one athlete to another.
