3A- DW (However, Spirit Lake and WSR are like top 4A- caliber teams this year)
2A- WC (I'm confident on this one, like I'm confident in ICW)
1A- B-Hull (Not so confident)

A season after they missed the state tournament by way of an unfortunate fourth quarter in their substate game against Woodward Academy, the Panorama boys basketball team has a lofty goal this season. Head coach Brad Halterman and his team believe they will be the last team standing in Class 2-A. “We have the goal of winning State. We don’t sell ourselves short by just getting to State. We have that same goal we had last year, and the boys and I have talked about it. We have a goal of winning State.”

Now of course that's the ultimate goal for every team, but unusual for a coach to say before the season even starts. The West Central Conference should be interesting to watch this year with DM Christian, Earlham, Panorama and Van Meter all fielding athletic teams, plus to see if Woodward Academy can build off last year's state tournament appearance.
