Pella Christian the best team in Pella?

PC is pretty good, and there are clearly some outstanding kids playing for them. I don't think they would match up well with Pella, however. Pella's tall receivers create such match up problems, and Pella's defense is pretty salty. I do understand your transitive property rationale.
I haven't seen Pella play. Quite a streak going though. Regina wiped out Solon early in the year and that was no fluke. I don't think Solon improved by leaps and bounds throughout the year but I am sure they did improve. Based on that, I think PC could play with them if not beat them. Of course, it's all speculation. Regina also gave Xavier their best game yet. It'll be interesting to see how Xavier and Pella match up. PC is definitely "dome-worthy."

I guess I'm not saying that they have them beat in any area. Just saying I think they can play with them and maybe beat them. Really looking at Regina v Solon, Solon v Pella, Regina v PC, which is a real stretch I know. I probably opened a real can of worms as I am sure Pella and Pella Christian are not best friends!
Xavier vs Pella will tell a lot. If Pella beats Xavier it's probably safe to say they are better than PC. But if Pella loses to Xavier (which is more likely) an argument could be made that PC is the better team, especially if the loss is by more than a touchdown. It's hard to compare 2 teams that haven't played eachother, but just based on common opponents I think that assessment is fair
Common opponent comparisons are always dangerous and I don't put too much weight on them. However, it's just a message board so it's just fun to talk about! I agree the Xavier-Pella matchup will be intersting and perhaps telling. However, until two teams get on the field together, we just never know! I would like to say I like Xavier in this game but I firmly believe until you beat the champ, you're still the champ. Pella will be hard to take out. Should be a great game. Others may disagree with me saying this, but I think this is the championship game. These two teams just seem better than the rest of the field.
Really Big Dan? Pella Christian had a great season and should have been playing Regina in the Dome. I guess you are feeling better Saturday morning thinking that Pella Christian would beat Pella right? Pella Christian would definitely be one of the better teams that Pella played this year, but to think that they would beat Pella is silly and something that should not even be discussed. Back to back titles and 39 in a row. Come on man!!!!!
