I think health will play a big role in their quest. Getting into 1A will help. Two tough games to start the year.
How are the Bears looking? I have read about the new QB throwing it around more than usual. Has he passed it this much coming up through the system or is this a new change for the Bears?
Or shut out or 3 game losing streak. Time to pump up the recruiting budget or find another metropolitan area to move to, this one isn't working. Did that Cornwell throw that much in Cub football?
What's to hate? Makes me chuckle that the community that casts the most aspersions probably has a better recruiting pipeline than most. Might explain the relative silence on the subject, heck EIHC must just be focusing on the season, he was so certain....
Regina and West Branch didn't play in 2008.
Regina went to West Branch in 2007 and won 41-7.
West Branch visited Regina in 2006 and lost 28-21.
Regina went to West Branch in 2005 and lost 13-10.
That was the last time West Branch has beaten Regina.
So, it has been 12 years.
To put it in perspective, current Seniors would have been about 5 years old the last time it happened.
If you want some more perspective, Regina was ahead of the game when it came to transfers. Just look back on their I believe 2002, 2003, 2004 teams. Teams have been doing it for years. Not sure why it's getting more attention now and calling teams and individuals out is the cool thing now

I'm not going to name names and call people out, but it was going on. Your right Regina was just average back then, more down years then good. Nowhere near the powerhouse they are today. Just funny to see Regina fans call out WB fans, and WB fans call out Regina fans on this topic. I'm a WB guy, with a dislike for Regina but I do respect what they have done the last 7-8 years. Love the rivalry tho. Truely believe when these two teams meet their isn't a better atmosphere in the state.
He went to the catholic school before they combined with the non catholic school, I was on sabbatical for awhile living out of the area. Who were those transfers in the early 2000's? Were they as blatant as some of the schools are now?

This is a straw man argument. I have never seen any hard evidence that West Branch or Regina have ever actively recruited any football players. Both SHOULD, in my opinion.
Thanks for the insight, not really sure where I have been proven wrong. On one side there is the 'I know somebody who says...'. On the other side are public records that contradict the 'I know somebody' comments. So yeah I fell into that trap. Keep on ranting, it's amusing.

Jesup was predicted to be pretty good the last couple of years. Maybe fell a bit short of expectations. They are our of the gate slowly this year. What are your thoughts for the game on Friday? I look for WB to put up big numbers in this one.
