Team Strengths:

Question Marks:
Turnover/Assist ratio
Overview:
Head coach Hugh DeBerg enters his first
season at Jesup after a previous stint at ADM-Adel. The first thing that
Coach DeBerg must do is instill in the players how important it is to take care
of the ball. A big part of their struggles last season were due to
turnovers. If the players can cut down on these and improve their assists,
this team has a chance to make a huge turn around. Jesup will be a senior
dominated team this year. Caleb Cameron returns as the leading scorer at
17.6 points per game. This 6-foot-6 bigman is tough to stop and will be
better with another year of experience under his belt. The success of the
team depends on that turnover/assist ratio and if the players can get rid of the
losing mentality from last year.
