Team Strengths:
Returning experience, strength and athleticism inside, and quickness on the
perimeter
Question Marks:
Interior foul trouble and offensive balance
Overview:
Grinnell lost two very talented players last year to graduation but could
eclipse their fifteen win season from last year if they can replace them.
This team will be and physical, especially in the post. With a number of
football players on the roster, the opposition better come to play every night.
That can also be a problem because if the refs are calling it tight, these
bigmen must avoid foul trouble. Four players return who played significant
minutes and they scored around thirty points per game. Leading the way is
Ryan Mahaffey. This senior has a chance to average a double-double this
winter and will be a good compliment to his teammates. The big concern
right now is how long will the Grinnell football season last?
