Overview:

The Eagle Grove team this year will be much different than last year. Gone
are all five starters and a coach that lost all their games last year.
Taking over as the head coach is Shawn Meth,
who has been an assistant coach at Sioux Falls Roosevelt, Sioux City Heelan,
Winterset, and South Sioux City. Coach Meth will be looking to turn the
program around and will have a number of players lacking varsity experience.
Despite that, the team has a number of players who can push the pace of the game
and help turn things around. There may be a lot of younger players seeing
action this year but that will pay off down the road when these athletes are
older.
