Team Strengths:

Returning experience and inside/outside balance

Question Marks:

Scoring and mental toughness

Overview:

Dyersville-Beckman was one of eight teams to make the Class 2A State tournament
last year. While there, the Trailblazers gave eventual champion Unity
Christian their toughest game of the tournament. Gone from that team are
four starters and a number of players who had lengthy experience at the varsity
level. Senior Brett Hosch is the only returning starter for Beckman.
He will receive more attention this year as the main post player but has shown
he has some skill. The leading return scorer is senior Brett Hittenmiller.
He will need to expand his game and step up on offense. Also keep an eye
on the younger players. They may not have varsity experience but have a
lot of talent.
