Overview:
After making the State tournament last year, the Tigers return five starters and
will be ready to make some noise in the MVC and the beyond. Cedar Falls
has all the makings of a very good team but must come together like they did at
the end of last year. One of the most difficult tests that a lot of these
players will face is the transition from football to basketball. With the
Tigers being rated #2 in Class 4A, many expect them to be in the playoffs in
November. This may cause the team to get off to a slow start. But
even if this team has a slow start, I would expect them to finish strong and
make a long run towards State.
