Team Strengths:

Question Marks:
Inexperience and how the team adapts to a new system
Overview:
Aplington-Parkersburg will have a much different look this winter with a new
coach. Chris May takes over and will
need to work hard to help the Falcons get back to a solid basketball program.
After making the State tournament in the 2003-2004 season, the team fell to 4-18
last year. Four starters are gone but leading scorer Tom Koenen comes
back. This 6-foot-3 senior averaged 13.1 points per game and will be a
tough play to stop this year. The big question right now is who will step
up around him? The success of the team will depend on if some of the more
inexperienced players can pick up their play.
