Good to hear that Saban used that as an example… Ruggs absolutely going to prison… just a matter of how long. And he should, and the lesson is we’re all a product (more or less) of our decisions.
His plea to keep his BAC test (.161; more than double the legal limit) out of trial evidence was tossed by the judge and it will be allowed. Doesn’t matter how skilled or famous or admired someone is… shame, but when someone dies by your actions there is a price to pay.

The worst part for me is that he seemed like such a good kid. My wife met him and he was just a humble young man that was helping people after a minor fender bender (no, he wasn't involved).
We met him again at a different kind of function and he remembered her and was just nice...so this one cut a little deeper for us both.
Still, agree he has to do so time in prison. What he did is unconscionable and a young lady died in a horrible way as a result.

Bill, you’re mixing the players / stories up. This thread started with Finley running from the cops on a moped; then we morphed into Henry Ruggs driving his car At 150+mph into a woman early one morning and her car exploded and she burned to death (and her dog too).
Rugg’s trial starts in Sept I believe… Finley, OTOH will still be impersonating a QB at Auburn from the bench (hopefully). You’re welcome.
