Does Ogden bounce back after the thrashing at VM?

If the do not U have to ask what is going on for them to be under achieving so much? Or are they? Thought they would be up there this year.

I have no idea and why I asked. From what I gathered they were touted as one of the teams to beat in their district this year...including Luke.

I talked to a guy I know that covers Ogden and Madrid, he said South Central Calhoun and Madrid should have been the preseason favorites and that Ogden is probably the 4th best team in that district (or 3rd depending on Manson NW Webster)

So how is Ryan doing?

Sounded like Ogden came to play. Game was 22-20 in middle of 3rd I was told. Madrid must be very good. I would have picked them and SCC to be the favorites. Between the two- I think SCC is the better team. Not sure when they play but it should be a great game.

Ogden put up a very good fight, I was impressed with how hard they played. They simply ran out of gas in the second half. That said, Madrid made some stupid mistakes and missed opportunities - up 16-0 with the ball inside Ogden's 35 halfway through the first quarter. Had Madrid scored there it could very well have been on at that point. SCC comes to the Jungle in three weeks on Oct. 9th. I would bet you a Coke that you may have picked the wrong better team :) Should be a very good game and the new scoreboard will definitely get a workout.

Won't take the bet because you might be right. Your team speed will give a lot of teams fits. I won't be surprised at whoever wins that. Home field might make the difference. It appears you have a very good football team this year. I hope you stay away from the injury bug that got you last year- will be fun to see what your team can do.

Your lips to God's ears... We have been very lucky to just have some normal nicks and scrapes. If healthy they should prove to be a pretty tough out.
