Quite a doubleheader last evening in Troy Mills as the Lions edged out the Lynx in a twin bill, 1-0 and 4-3. What a pitching performance by Austin Krob of Lisbon in game one with 15 K's out of 21 outs and the rest were infield ground balls. I hope IHSAA sends these teams in different directions come tournament time so we can see both down at Principal Park in the State Meet. Definitely two of the top teams in 1A. Quite the matchup indeed! When are districts announced by the way?

They will not meet before Des Moines. Districts have been announced for 1A and 2A. Coaches will get together this weekend to seed the teams and put them into brackets.
