Poky got up 12-2 to start the game, but the Mustangs came back to tie it at the end of the 1st Quarter at 14. Newell-Fonda was able to better take care of the basketball and their defense was able to make things difficult on Ruffridge. She looked frustrated at times as NF had someone on her all night long. Mustangs went on 12-0 run to take a 34-27 lead into half. 2nd Half the Mustang defense played very well and did a nice job of limiting Poky's good looks. This was a tremendous difference from the first time these two teams played. NF played a fantastic game holding Poky to 50 points.
