NF vs. KP

Tough way to lose a ball game if you are a mustang fan. A foul that appears not to be a foul gave KP 3 free throws at the end of regulation during a regional final. Two deserving teams to be at the state tournament however decided by a very questionable call. An official decided the outcome of that game when he chose to blow a whistle even though there was no contact on the play.

The girls union should take a look at this and decide if this is how they want there state tournament to be decided. Maybe it shouldn't be decided by the players and let the officials decide. Kids shouldn't work hard in the off season. Maybe the officials should determine that in the Summer so kids know if they have to continue to work hard. A tough play no matter what side of the fence you are on.

I feel like I'm missing something, as I don't see where they were slotted to play in districts. Is this a girls game being talked about here?

Yes. KP won 76-75 to go to State. Girls board is dead aside from some Panorama, DSM Christian and Van Meter fans bickering back and forth.

If you're NF at least you only had to deal with the one questionable call at the end of this game unlike the awful officiating that benefitted the NF boys team the entire game in their opening round win.

Funny coincidences there too as it was at Algona Garrigan and they were probably thrilled that NF eliminated St. Edmonds but then in the second round game at West Hancock NF beats Garrigan in OT. Maybe not so thrilled after all....

I believe the call was a makeup call for the questionnable foul called on KP with 3 sec left that gave the NF player 3 fts. She only made one and the rest is history.
