Mount Ayr vs Bedford

What are everyone's thoughts on this game? Could very possibly determine the district champ. Old school rivalry will be a great game to watch.

I like Bedford have family from there and mt ayr both....but mt ayr by 3 scores and jv plays second half

Aside from the season opening loss to Albia, Mount Ayr's varsity defense has given up only 1 touchdown this season. The rest of the touchdowns have been scored against reserves. Tough task for Bedford playing against that defense.

It could be the perfect storm for Bedford. Homecoming can be a distraction just as much as motivation, Mount Ayr 1's and 2's have yet to play more than a half, and that Mount Ayr seems to lose games they shouldn't that cost them district titles. Both teams like to run the football which should keep the clock running and the game fairly close. If Mount Ayr can't protect the ball look for Bedford to escape with a win and the district title. Having said all that pro-Bedford, Mount Ayr has the better team and it's their game to lose. I'll take Mount Ayr 29-7.

Both tough defenses. I say a battle that ends in the low 20s, great game to decide the district championship.
