Most interesting game this week- For me

Sgt Bluff vs LC

The qb for Sgt Bluff is a stud and will have a solid year. I wonder if LC defense can stay competitive in this game after losing so many studs. On O, the QB last year for LC was a once in a decade player. Any thoughts on this game?

Did LC lose too much to have a repeat run?

Lewis Central's D didn't lose that much - they had six juniors and one freshman in their starting defensive lineup in last year's semifinal game. On offense they'll have both tackles back, plus Fidone at receiver and Miller at running back ... They're going to be tough again this year.

Well, I must be on to something since Iowa radio doesn't even have LC ranked .... Interesting everyone says LC will be fine, but yet no one ranks LC. This is like CC and the chocolate factory - things that make you go hmmmm

RadioIowa is the only one to not rank them so I'm not sure why you're saying, "No one ranks LC."

they will be good, loosing simnons and duggan was HUGE...They also have new coach. it will be interesting to see if they can be as productive as they were last yr.....cedar rapids gazzette has lewis central ranked 7th, and harlan 9th
