I have been at the state tourney all week and was wondering how good they were so I looked at their schedule. They beat one good team all year and that was Martensdale. They lost to PCM, Albia, and then Wapsie Valley. They need to schedule some 2A and 3A teams next year or they will not go any further next year.

They shot lights out against MSTM and obviously did not against WV. Credit WV for showing up and playing. Sometimes, it's a matter a team hitting a few shots early and getting confident while the other team gets down. Saw it last night in the NL-Treynor game.

Scheduling is difficult. You have to find someone who wants to play, find an open date and possibly work with the girls coach. That being said, I really think MSTM significantly upgraded their schedule and it paid results (obviously not at the Well). Perhaps Monte can find a game with Pella, Pella Christian, Grinnell or someone in the area.
