Luke Lenoch surpasses 5,000 yards rushing

Congratulations, to be the record holder at WB is impressive, several very high quality backs coming out of that school.

1,000-yard mark for the third straight season.. career 5,265 yards and 75 touchdowns.
Very Impressive

Now need to keep winning. What are the next 3, team health?
N Cedar then @ Tipton. Host Clayton Ridge for what may become play-off entry exam. Lost QB Friday afternoon in a homecoming volleyball spoof. Move a receiver that had never taken a snap to QB. Luckily it was Durant & Bears had no problem. Am concerned that not having the receiver in position but not sure who would throw it to him.
over all team health is dismal with the injury losses piling up.

he will always give credit to the OL that you mentioned, RoundMound1. always. Listen to any interview he's ever given. It's usually about his teammates and not him.

He's absolutely a class act. I'm not sure if you thought my post was facetious, but definitely not intended that way. I would expect Luke Lenoch to want to share the credit for his accomplishment with his OL that helped pave the way.

i saw nothing wrong in your post. i was just responding with what I knew about him. and it seems you have as well.

42 carries for 226 vs N Cedar. We have to keep Luke healthy & the way the injury bug has bitten us..... fingers crossed

And, North Cedar was a team that came into that game with a 1-5 record. Would have seemed like an opportunity to get him some rest.

56 carries in the game for the Bears all of them by seniors. For a serious question, are the next classes so bereft of talent that they don't have anyone to carry the ball in a 3 touchdown victory?

I don't know much about this but looking at the quikstats roster, it only lists 7 juniors. Might have to dip to the sophomore level.

Small classes occur. The Regal senior class is small in # of boys, is that the case in WB? Cyard?

It could be a lot worse: Injuries force Griswold to cancel game vs Earlham. Class A district 7 Griswold coach Andy Everett said the team’s list of injuries became too much. He did not release specific names, but the ailments, he said, ranged anywhere from concussions to torn ligaments to day-to-day aches and pains.

A private school in a metro area had to forfeit a game as well and that was at the 2A level.

Columbus I believe, seems crazy a 2a school would have those problems, an 8 player District 6 has a team that had to forfeit last to games, don't know if they've called it a season or not.

I was able to find some info on the forfeit
What to watch: Columbus is ready to get back to football. After forfeiting last week’s game against No. 1 North Fayette Valley in the interest of player safety with only 12 available players, Columbus has 18 to 20 varsity players ready for Friday’s trip to Cascade. Coach Brad Schmidt has been stressing fundamentals in preparation for this game. He looks for his team to try and limit turnovers and find ways to sustain drives on offense to keep his defense fresh. ... Cascade is led by a 6-foot-1, 215-pound bruising running back in Austin Lieurance who has rushed for 960 yards and 14 touchdowns at an average of 7.3 yards per carry. The lone Cascade losses this season have been to two of Class 2A’s top teams in North Fayette Valley and Waukon.

Columbus coach Brad Schmit (on his team’s return): “Obviously 12 players compared to 18, potentially 20, makes a world of difference. We had a good couple days of practice thus far and we’re just ready and excited to get back out there and compete. Last week was not a good week for anyone involved with Columbus football. We’re ready to come out this week and be competitive.”
