Long standing rivalries

Fort Dodge and Mason City will play this year for the 100th time. Just wondering what other rivalries are hitting or have gone past the century mark?

Des Moines East vs. Des Moines North has the states oldest rivalry. They have played for the past 112 years.

Ottumwa and Oskaloosa played every year from 1897 to 1995. I am glad to see they renewed the series this year. They only reason the game was dropped was probably for the 4A point deduction for playing 3A schools.

BCMOORE has record of Webster City playing Hampton in 1897. They are in the same conference for other sports yet today.

The database also has Denison playing Harlan in 1899 (if they played every year since, it would be 116 years). They have since 1989 for sure and twice in the same season 5x in that 25 year span.

I can not say for sure, but Davenport (now Central) and Clinton have to have been playing almost continuously for a good century or more.

Waterloo Central is gone, but I would imagine West and East have been playing for an extended period of time.
