Halftime. Regina 13, Pleasant Valley 21.

Pleasant Valley just too big and too deep. They put together a strong second half and pull away for a 45-13 win.
Regina’s Wick looked like the best player on the field.

St. Ansgar took down Osage 35-12.

St. Ansgar had plenty of first game mistakes but overall looked like they have the potential for a post season run if the season plays out in its entirety. Nothing flashy, long sustained drives. Threw one pass on a 4th down that was converted. Defense didn't allow much aside from a few big plays.

The crowd at this game was great as always. Schools are 15 minutes apart. It's the Mitchell County version of the CyHawk game, complete with a travelling trophy.
