Exciting news for Augustana College (soon to be Augustana University) fans. According to social media, Levi Jansen recently committed to the Vikings. As some people may know, Levi's brother, Dan, will be a senior at Augie this season and has a chance to lead what could be a pretty special team. Fun to know Levi will be coming in the year after Dan graduates and will surely add to an already impressive legacy for the Jansen family at Augie.

Fantastic get for Augustana. The kid is better than your usual DII player (as seen with the fact he had at least 1 D1 offer at 1 point). Excellent family pipeline for the school.

My understanding is that he had two D1 offers for sure (USD and Nebraska-Omaha) and I've heard there were a few other D1s who were on the verge of offering. Not sure if any other offers were officially made before Levi committed to Augie though. Either way, anyone regarded that highly in a pretty stacked (in my opinion) class of Iowa 2016s is a solid get for the D2 level. Between this year's group of seniors at Augie and the group that will be around for a few more years when Levi arrives in 2016, things are really looking good for the Augustana College (soon to be Augustana University) Vikings men's basketball program.
