I mean I post on here way less than I did when I was in hs but damn this place is like crickets.

Social media and other avenues to waste time. I'll likely be consolidating the football boards in some fashion. Any suggestions?

I've been on the Missouri equivalent a few times and they have everything consolidated. I don't like it nearly as much. It's far too confusing. We're missing (or not missing) the trash talk from the old days.

I agree, it was fun with the trash talking but now whenever post something that is a troll I get emails complaining about it. Amazing how thing skinned things have become.

Any solutions here?

Kick out the people that whine and complain and then let us trash talkers go at it? Give them an orange slice, their participation certificate and then tell them life isn't fair and their team may get beat by a better team and 'getting better' is something they can do about it rather than thinking the rules are unfair. But that may cause some hurt feelings.

You could take a page out of (gasp!) reddit's book and have a post that is specifically for that week's trash talk. No hard feelings allowed.

Emails are somewhat good, means there is activity and interest. Some well informed trash talking is needed.
