be interesting to see if the new coach can keep solon at the level they are playing in the past few years. it will be hard to match their sucess

Regina played Anamosa this past season and I was lucky enough to get to meet Tate Little and his father. Tate was an Anamosa football player who was injured badly in a car accident.
Tate and his father were right there on the Anamosa sidelines during the game. I was able to see and hear how Coach Stanton and the Anamosa team treated and included Tate, and I came away very impressed with the Little family, Coach Stanton and the Anamosa players.
I think Solon is getting a quality coach and individual. I hope it works out for everyone.

I don't think you can judge the quality of a coach based on their Won/Loss record alone. Many great coaches spend time at places that are more challenging to win before they get hired at a more "prestigious" school. Good luck to Coach Stanton. I think he will do well.
