NFHS says states can adopt 35-second shot clock for high school basketball

Beginning with the 2022-23 season, a 35-second shot clock will be permitted in high school basketball games by state association adoption. A proposal for a national rule mandating a shot clock was not approved.

Assuming the associations will not be helping with the cost...This will be a big burden on smaller schools athletic budgets. Finding volunteers to run it will be another issue.
