“[We’re] absolutely on track, but staying hungry.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“We’re playing well, even in our mistakes we’re moving forward and confident in ourselves.”

“We have mistakes we can clean up, like every team, but we trust in our coaches and each other and we’ll get there.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We just need to keep the next play mentality and focus on what’s in front of our face. We know we’re strong together, and we’re a focused team.”

“I think I’ve had a pretty good season.”

How do you feel your team has played?

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Not taking any team lightly and giving 100% every play.”

Q&A with Ankeny Centennial running back Elijah Porter
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“It's been going good so far, lots of injuries on the team including myself, we did what we needed and we'll see who we plan on making far in the playoffs when all of our guys are back and healthy. Especially on offense, when we are healthy, the throw and run is dangerous because you have to respect both.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“When I'm healthy, I'm very pleased with my performance but missing two games makes me miss out on stats but I'm more worried about what's best for the team and how I can help for us to win each and every week.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“We play very well when our offense clicks, our defense clicks. It's all connected. Our team builds off each other, and in these upcoming weeks, we need to play perfect football to have a real shot at it. As Individuals we’re not going to be perfect but as a team we can play perfect and that's what needs to happen.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Penalties hurt our offense, putting us in drive-stopping situations. And for our defense, stopping the opposing team on 3rd down and short has been a real struggle.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We have to play clean and perfect football, no penalties, no turnovers.”

Q&A with Lisbon offensive tackle Jonah Reiling
How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“So far the season has gone well.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I am happy with the way I have been playing, but still have lots to work on.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“We had a slow start, but we have won our last 4 games and are playing really well.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Continuing to execute on each play.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Being able to execute no matter what the other team throws at us.”
