How did the high school football season go overall?
“I thought the high school season was great this year. A lot better than last year with the COVID. Obviously we couldn’t help it but it felt normal and it was very fun.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am going to go out for track and baseball and workout with Ryan Smith at IAP.”
Were you pleased with your play this season?
“I started off the season a little slow, but I followed the end of the year pretty well. I finished with 20 TOT and tied 1st in 4a at the end of the regular season with 5 interceptions according to varsity bound.”
What are you trying to improve on now?
“Right now, I plan to improve my speed.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The football season overall was great. We had a lot of success and had to play our first playoff game with two starters out, including me.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans now are to hit the weight room and conditioning hard, especially during the winter. I'll do track and then go back to football workouts.”
Were you pleased with your play this season?
“I had a lot of success, but I'm not satisfied with how I did, and I didn't get an opportunity in the last two games of the season to make more plays.”
What are you trying to improve on now?
“I'm now trying to improve on my size and speed even more.”

“Overall, we struggled as a team, but I tried to find the good in the bad.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I will be going to the weight room 6 times a week, working on various things I need to improve on.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe if my team commits to a productive offseason, we could see greater results.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I believe West Marshall will be the toughest team. They are a very disciplined team that doesn’t play down to their opponents.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“If I had to pin it down to one player, it would be Jayden Allen-Winston from Chariton. He’s a very tough player who plays both sides of the ball very well.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Good so far. We are where we want to be. We are home next week and hope to continue to WIN and make it to the Dome and do something that hasn't been done at Monticello High School.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“It's been pretty good, but there's always things I want to improve on after every game to keep getting better.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played well. I have great teammates, and coaches.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We just want to keep getting better every week to accomplish our end goal.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We need to continue to work hard in practice, keep focused, and everyone needs to continue to do their job.”
